I would like to thank you. Your grips have definitely helped my game. They have been especially helpful to my 14-year-old son. He has a habit of putting his hands too far clockwise on the grip. The results are some ugly duck hooks. He's been playing my Nike Slingshots with the ProPlay grips and is noticing improvement. While he finds having a neutral grip a bit uncomfortable, he's noticing better ball flight and better contact. He's convinced that I need to give him the irons. LOL. I picked up some of the individual ProPlay grips this week at Edwin Watts and re-gripped his set.

I had visited a golf show early in the year and visited a booth called Pro Play. The first thing that caught my attention was this child in the booth holding a golf club perfectly. I spoke with Donna and she explained this amazing product.

Simply, it is a color-coded golf grip and glove that work together to help any golfer place their hands in the proper golf grip position by just matching markings on the glove to markings on the grip. The thumb of the glove has a dot that matches a dot on the golf grip as well as lines on the palm of the glove that match up with lines on the grip. By matching the markings, it automatically gives you the proper grip. I purchased all of the colored sizes to fit my Junior Golfers--from 8 to 12 years of age. As soon as I started my class and explained how the ProPlay Fitting System worked, the students picked up the glove that fit them and easily matched it to the proper grip (they new what club to pick up because of the matching colors). Quickly, their hands were positioned correctly on the club on their very first try!

As we all know, teaching the proper golf grip is one of the hardest things to teach; but with the ProPlay product, it didn't take me long to teach my students the proper golf grip. It helped us so much that the students in our Junior Golf Program Skills Competition came in 4th place against 40 teams. I can't wait to see how our students will perform next year. We all know the negative effects that poor hand position can have on wrist hinge and clubface position in a students swing. We also know how difficult a grip change is for the student as they experience the awkwardness and discomfort of changing their old habits. Whenever we work on a students grip, the first thing we do is have them put on a ProPlay glove. ProPlay is without a doubt the best and most innovative product on the market today especially for juniors.The color association provides a easy and proven learning tool for consistency-grip color and glove. It is impossible for me to believe that any PGA Professional who works with juniors will not want to use this product. In my 41 years as a PGA Member, this is the best product I have used and will continue to use.

We were given a set of grips and a glove at the 2007 PGA show for my daughter. She was 9 years old at the time. After putting on the grips, she was very precise from that moment on with her grip. Every time she hits a shot, she always checks her grip so carefully with the lines and the dots, and she never hurriedly takes a grip and hits the ball. She is very particular about it. I think it is the BEST teaching aid for juniors and new players, due to the fact the grip is so very important and so easy to forget for beginners. Plus it eliminates the question, "Am I doing this right?" I teach beginners and juniors here at Errol Estate and I plan on selling this to every new student I have in the future.

“Normally I don’t even hit my driver off the tee. I use a 3 wood because I slice it so bad. With the ProPlay system, I lined up the glove with the grip and hit the ball with my driver and it went straight. I didn’t slice it like I normally do”

Once I put the ProPlay grips on, I noticed immediate results. I actually did an experiment. I went to the golf range before I put the grips on and I kept track of how I hit the ball. I can say that 70 to 80% of my shots consistently went to the right. After I put the grips on, I went back to the range and I noticed a dramatic difference. I would say 20 to 30% of the time, the ball went to the right so I was consistently hitting much straighter and with more distance.
